GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The OB3365Cis a highly integrated and high performance LED driver that optimized for LCD backlight application. It integrates a boost driver and 4 channels of current balancer optimized to drive multi LED arrays; and thus provide a high performance LED backlight solution with minimized BOM count.

The OB3365Ccontains a PWM boost driver which uses current mode control and fixed frequency operation. The operation frequency can be programmed by setting external resistor value at RI pin.

The OB3365Cintegrates 4 channels current balancer with up to 350mA current capability per channel and it achieves 1.5% matching accuracy among LED strings. It also supports 400mA pulse current for application. The minimum voltage of current source is regulated according to the current capability to benefit the efficiency and to improve theIC thermal performance.

The OB3365Csupports PWM and analogcombination dimming which allow flexible control of the backlight luminance. The LED current is directly modulated by PWM duty cycle on PWM pin and the ISET pin voltage which determined by the input of ADIM pin.

OB3365Cis offered in 16-pinDIP/ETSSOP/SOP package.
